Fireteam ("we," "us," "our") is operated by Hekla Ventures LLC. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use our platform, visit our website at fireteams.co, or interact with a business that uses Fireteam to manage its communications.
This policy applies to two groups of people: (1) Business Users — trades companies that subscribe to Fireteam, and (2) End Users — customers, callers, and contacts who interact with a Fireteam-powered business by phone, text, or web.

Fireteam uses artificial intelligence to power its services. When you interact with a Fireteam-powered business:
You can request to speak with a human at any point during a call or text conversation. The AI will transfer you immediately.
Calls handled by the Fireteam AI receptionist are recorded and transcribed. The AI announces this at the start of each call. Recordings are used for providing the service, quality assurance by the business owner, training and improving the AI system, and compliance and dispute resolution.
If you do not wish to be recorded, you may hang up and contact the business directly at the number listed on their website or Google Business Profile.
Fireteam builds to two-party consent standards. In states that require all-party consent for call recording, the AI's announcement at the start of the call constitutes notice. Your continued participation in the call constitutes consent.
Transactional messages (missed-call text-back, appointment confirmations, job status updates): These are sent in response to your interaction with the business. Your act of calling the business constitutes implied consent for a transactional response.
Marketing messages (review requests): These are sent only with your prior express written consent, collected at the time of service booking or completion.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption of data in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest, row-level security ensuring tenant isolation, API credentials stored in encrypted vaults, access controls, and regular security reviews.
No system is 100% secure. If you believe your information has been compromised, contact us immediately at security@fireteams.co.
Fireteam is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
